So we decided to go for breakfast at the new Mt Wellington Mc Donalds…..

Flagged it when there was far too many people there and the parking was crap. Decided to go to Lunn ave Mc Donalds but got to counter and a new guy was on and hadn’t a clue what was going on, walked out and drive to the Greenlane Mc Donalds and ended up having something there, coffee was the highlight and the drive and chat was the best. Thank you Julie for the company ❀

Early start as usual

We are up early most mornings as I start at between 0530 – 0600 thank you to my wonderful wife as she gets up with me and makes sure I have everything for the day including taking me to the train station. Two 12 hour shifts and a 10 hour shift so full on work.

Good thing is I’m still losing weight 😊 mind you much more weight loss and I will be all skin and bone!

This I thought was a neat picture I captured while going for my early morning coffee at Bah bah black sheep cafe. Great β˜• at this cafe so worth dropping in if your around during the week 😁

The Reef

Watched the reef this arvo! Second time for me although I had forgotten most of it!

Great movie, enjoyed it and was a true story which is always a bonus.

Always enjoy watching movies with the lovely wife πŸ™‚

Great views while at work. Love the days from here always different things to look at from this view point and with the harbour so close it’s nice seeing the the water traffic too. πŸπŸš£β›΅β›΄βš“

Out West

Went for a drive out to Piha today, West Auckland. Great drive and enjoyed the scenery πŸ˜πŸ–’πŸš—

Where to start

It’s been such a long time since I have updated this blog… Slack I know however like everyone else I have or should I say we have been busy. New start, new job, new life style, yes, it’s all happened in the last few months πŸ™‚

New life style is due to releasing over 20kg feeling better than I have in a long time, feeling like I’m twenty again πŸ˜€ It’s taken three months with very little exercise to be honest but it’s all working out well, less medication no insulin πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ blood tests have been fantastic for us both and we are very happy with how it’s all going… Better still we are earning residual income yes an income for being healthy what more can you want! If you’re interested ask πŸ™‚

Started a new job πŸ™‚ The yard closed I heard although I left before hand as the writing was on the wall. Getting paid on time now πŸ™‚ and loving the work. In the Auckland CBD but I have gotten used to it so all good πŸ˜€ Will add to this in the next day or so…..

New Addition

The other week we had a new arrival that used to come to the top of the drive and sit for awhile, Julie started to get friendly with the little dude and of course I couldn’t help myself! Now we have named him Tommy and he has fitted in very well to the family πŸ˜€ Always around and is very well behaved πŸ™‚

Welcome to the abode Tommy πŸ™‚Β

Movie week we had……. Three movies had been watched. The Purge the first of the Purge movies, Great movie really enjoyed it although what the movie was based on was certainly somethinhg you wouldn’t want apoart from that it was a well worth movie to watchΒ

Following the Purge was the next called The Purge: Anarchy (2014)Β sequel, Β I enjoyed this one better I think from the three again based on the 12 hour Purge, I don’t want too say anything as you may want to view these so spoilers won’t be good here πŸ™‚Β

The last of the sequels are The Purge: Election Year (2016) this again was great to watch and followed the same basis even though they are sequels they had been well worth watching πŸ™‚ In 2018 they are looking to bring the fourth out so will be keen to watch this also. All movies have the usual blood and guts for a horror movie so if your not into that don’t watch them πŸ˜€
